It all started with two women determined to take their acne into their own hands.

Danielle struggled with severe acne—and many failed treatment attempts—for years before clearing up her skin by extensively researching the causes of acne and becoming a Licensed Clinical Esthetician.

In 2014, she founded The San Diego Acne Clinic, where she earned the title of The Acne Guru® due to her astonishing 98% success rate in clearing her patients' skin across all ages, ethnicities, and skin types.

Among her success stories is Kayleigh Christina, an Integrative Health Practitioner + Nutritionist who couldn't clear her cystic acne until visiting Danielle at her clinic and adopting her approach.

Danielle "The Acne Guru®" Gronich is the co-founder, chief formulator and CEO of CLEARSTEM.

After over 10 years of personal struggle with chronic cystic acne and numerous unsuccessful treatments—including Accutane, antibiotics, birth control, and laser treatments—Danielle dove into clinical research and returned to school to find answers.

In 2014, she opened the San Diego Acne Clinic, where her comprehensive methods achieved a 98% success rate in clearing clients' skin. In 2017, she founded CLEARSTEM to make her methods accessible to all the people who need it.
